Mr. Mercer was born on September 23, 1914 and passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2012.

Mr. Mercer was a resident of Lumberton, North Carolina at the time of his passing.

He is survived by his wife Louise.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 2:00PM at Regan United Methodist Church in Lumberton. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 1:00-2:00PM on at Regan United Methodist Church and other times at the home of Susan Williams, 3995 Regents Street, Lumberton.
